Come on Downtown!
Independence, Kansas Farmers' Market provides area producers within a 75 mile radius a means of marketing home grown or produced products. There's nothing like Fresh Foods! We provide an opportunity for consumers to purchase quality products grown and produced in this area that have not been trucked in from far away.
Please visit our Downtown Farmers' Market at:
Penn & Myrtle in the 100 block of West Myrtle between the Community National Bank building and the Military Recruiter building.
Open every Saturday from the ringing of the market bell at 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. or the vendors run out of product.

VENDOR LIST AT ALL TIME
HIGH!
This year has been very successful for the Downtown Farmer's Market as we have had many new vendors. On one recent Saturday we had seventeen different vendors selling their wares.
Although the Farmer's Market is generally considered a place to buy home-grown produce, we have had new vendors selling hair feathers, hand-crafted leather goods, sunflowers, hand-crafted picture frames, hematite necklaces and bracelets, assorted home-made jewelry, and bird feeders and bird bath's. Add to this the usual great produce and the Downtown Farmer's Market has something for everyone. Come see what we have to offer!
As the summer draws to a close, the market will also close. We want to thank all our patrons for their support throughout the season. We hope everyone enjoyed the market this year and the Board of Directors will be working hard all winter to make next year even bigger and better!
We look forward to your continued support!
See You In The Spring!
